The menu includes a wide selection of starters, including Formaggio Fritta and Antipasto Misto, a selection of cured regional Italian meats served with ciabatta bread, olives and rocket.

Main courses include favourites and new twists: the pizzas are thin and crispy, Penne Fresco teams goat's cheese with fresh cherry tomatoes, spinach and toasted pine nuts, and classics, such as the carbonara are all present. The Griglia section offers chargrilled sirloin or rib-eye steaks. Desserts continue in the traditional vein, with the Tiramisu particularly recommended, along with Banoffee Italiano - an Italian twist to this favourite dessert.

Bella Italia is family-friendly, with the Menu Bambino offering a main course, dessert and drink for a set price. The children also get a fun pack with a colouring book, crayons and funky toy. The main menu is also reasonably priced, with most starters between £3 and £5 and mains and specials from £5 to £10

The restaurants are true to their Italian roots; poster prints and paintings hang everywhere, and the pace is truly relaxed. Bella Italia is wonderful for a hassle-free meal and caters for all types of diners, from business people and shoppers to those seeking a special romantic supper.
